The results from the remaining four drill holes will be available shortly once the data has been checked and compiled. All holes have been drilled vertically and the intersections give the true thickness of the deposits.

The drill program was terminated early due to the poor drilling conditions encountered. Three holes located in the centre of the R-190 deposit were terminated just above the ore-bearing stratigraphy due to drill problems caused by the soft ground conditions resulting from the extremely wet summer conditions experienced on the property. The wet ground conditions also prevented drilling on the GO3 deposit to avoid environmental disturbance. These holes could be drilled easily in winter conditions once freezing has occurred.

The drilling completed to date will provide sufficient data to proceed with a feasibility study. All holes completed within the W85, G03, and R190 deposits contained thicknesses and grades representative of the historic data for the deposits.

The core samples recovered during the winter and summer drill programs will provide enough test material for the dense media separation tests to be completed this fall. In addition, large samples of the ore and host rock were located on mine dumps from previous operations and will be used to test the hardness and abrasion characteristics needed for the continuous miner.

The previously reported results of the winter drilling on the W-85 and G0-3 deposits are given below for comparison purposes.
